After discovering we are traveling 9 months out of each of the past 2 years of traveling in our little Class C and Ron (6'3") banging his head for the umptenth time, it was time to improve our living space and comfort level.
After getting totally confused every day while searching for the perfect coach, we made the decision to purchase the WFE30W Winnebago Vista. 2 slides that are opposite each other in the living area and alas, no dinette, this was the perfect coach for 2 people.
The salesman had us test drive the unit and MADE us go on the freeway. This is on the Los Angeles Freeway system. Weren't too sure about our survival, but we did make it back to the dealership.
Have to sit it out in LA while they do a few things we want done. Should be able to move all of our possessions over to the new one on Thursday. Shake down adventure will be to Las Vegas. What a shame that we will HAVE to spend a few days there. Don't want to get too far from the dealer in case we discover something that needs attention during the first few days.
We will see what we can do around LA to kill a few days. Universal Studios, Disneyland? We will see.
