Drove over to Redlands where Ron was born and found his house and his Grandmothers house. Still a very nice little city.
Stopped by Camping World. Of course, new Motorhome equates to more stuff that we must have.
Had another venture of trying to get a couple of prescriptions filled. Remind self, change all prescriptions to Walmart from Walgreens. Was told that if Ron wanted his prescription 2 days early from a full 90 days from the last prescription we must prove we are leaving LA. Walgreens first said it was a Federal Policy, then said it was a Walgreens policy, finally after we told her we get prescriptions up to 2 weeks early was told it was their own policy. Needless to say, we got the prescription without having to PROVE we left LA. A quick call from our Doc solved that problem with Walgreens. We couldn't quite figure out how we were going to prove we were leaving LA. Anyone have an idea "for next time-LOL"
Yesterday we made a stop at Wal Mart. Got a couple of large containers for the new motorhome. It has some huge storage areas. Remind self, Mazda Miata is a 2 seater and you can maybe if you are lucky put 5 bags of groceries in the trunk.
Will find out tomorrow morning, when our new house on wheels will be ready for us to switch our stuff and get out of Dodge, well LA.
Getting out of California with our new RV is a whole story that you might not believe could actually happen. Remind self, don't buy a motorized vehicle in California if you don't live here and don't want to pay their 10% sales tax without paying a fortune to someone else driving it to Nevada for you.
Still hope to make it to Universal Studios one of the days we are waiting and waiting.
